Our other female, Meeko, who is about 11 months old, gets along swimmingly with her. Tigger is arguably the most beautiful cat I’ve ever seen, and her demeanor is noticeably sweeter than our previous cat, whom I believed was the sweetest cat in the world before tigger. My daughter and one of her boys both have allergic asthma, and my daughter has spent her entire life being terribly allergic to cats. They have two Siberians. Her asthma seemed to be a little worse for the first 2-3 months or so after obtaining the first cat, and she needed her inhaler more frequently, but after that she seemed to be fine in terms of breathing. When they received the second kitten, the same thing happened. She wonders if her body was becoming accustomed to them in some way. She still washes her hands after holding and petting them because she notes that if she touches her eyes after petting them for a long, her eyes become extremely itchy and occasionally puffy, but only in the eye she unintentionally touched before washing her hands.
This is the only part that hasn’t changed. They are not allowed to sleep in her bed. She is ready to put up with it since she adores them so much, and her reaction is nothing compared to her allergic reaction to a “normal” cat.
She has a total of two color points. I’m not sure if color matters, but she claims she read somewhere (can’t remember where) that traditional hues create less protein or something along those lines. However, she is unsure if there is any truth to this.

Lumos and Nox have brought me so much joy and affection! They’ve been energetic but cuddly softies since the minute I picked them up! They are developing into beautiful, muscular felines with incredible intelligence! Lumos and Nox both enjoy playing games. They can spend hours chasing toys (and each other), but they also like cuddling. They come every day and fall asleep in my lap on the couch, purring happily. Lumos and Nox are a fantastic brother-sister duo! They fight, play, and unconditionally love each other! Lumos is considerably more shy than Nox, and I frequently hear him calling out for Nox, and she will rush over to check on him!

We had a pleasant return journey. When I got back to Houston, I pulled over and let her have free reign of the vehicle. That seemed to make her happier, so I gave it a shot. She eventually rode on my shoulders and slept in that position. She is so sweet. Since I let her out of the cage, she hasn’t wept a single tear. Oh, she yelled at first…… but we got through it.
